Friday Five is here, and it’s an interesting smorgasbord for you today:
1. SlyDial
I’ve been using this since college, but thought I’d share it to you for those times you really don’t want to call someone who will have an hour long convo with you.
It’s a number you call which then masks your phone # – you call the person you’ve been dreading calling and it goes RIGHT to their voicemail. You leave a voicemail, and then voila! You hang up. The best part is that it shows up on their phone as a missed call and voicemail – like they lost service or something. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
2. Organization Flow Chart that I found thanks to Get Organized Magazine.
Amazing. And just what I need after the deep clean from Clean Popo of my apartment (before & after pics to come next week!) to keep me organized.
How do you stay organized? I just bought an Erin Condren planner – can’t wait to use it (in a few weeks – it’s on backorder)!
3. The Happiness Project
This could be the best book I’ve ever read. Month by month steps and resolutions on how to become a happier person – not a self-help though – more like a research project by Gretchen Rubin. I actually bought and read it two years ago, but it’s so good, I’m reading it again this summer! Happier At Home is the follow-up to this book. She also has a blog that I follow, check it out here: http://happiness-project.com/
4. Sephora Recommends: Vitamin C for Brighter Skin
Perusing my Facebook “likes” recently – I saw that Sephora posted this. I’m definitely going to try it! What do you use to brighten your skin?
5. Iconic Fashion Lounge’s Poppy Blazer
I saw this on my friend (and boutique owner) Lauren’s page – a poppy red blazer being sold as part of the fall collection at Iconic. TDF! So beautiful. If I didn’t have a Red Tahari blazer already, it’d be in my closet – make sure to get it in yours!
What are you excited about as far as fall fashion goes?
